April Workshop Application
How to Know When Your Script is Ready: April 13th, 2024
Thank you for your interest in our "How to Know When Your Script is Ready" workshop. We're currently seeking ten LGBTQ+ storytellers deeply committed to crafting narratives that authentically represent the diverse experiences and perspectives within the LGBTQ+ community. Each participant will engage in our workshop, led by industry expert [Insert Name], and will receive invaluable feedback from the Lumina Initiative staff on their submitted short film script.

Rules & Terms:
All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer.
Concepts/Log Lines must be the original work of the author and may not be plagiarized or derived from any third party.
Concepts/Log Lines that have been sold, produced, or are currently optioned are not eligible for submission.
Applicants must not have previously had a narrative project professionally produced.
All ownership and rights to the concept/log line submitted to this workshop remains with the original rights holders.
We invite submissions in a range of formats, encompassing narrative short films (both live-action and animation), web series pilots, half-hour TV pilots, and proof-of-concept shorts for TV series and features.
Eligibility:
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age to submit.
Applicants must identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and are requested to submit a log line for their script.
Everyone worldwide is eligible to participate; however, submitted material must be in English.
